Event & Commercial Photography Pricing

To answer the question ... "What is the cost of photographing my conference or product? " is a bit like asking “how long is a piece of string?”

While photography may initially seem quite expensive, there often is more time and work involved behind the scenes or after the job is completed than the job itself.

In this age of computers and digital imaging our clients expect (justifiably) to receive a finished product...ready to go. "Raw images straight out of the camera need to be downloaded, edited and "finished", renumbered, often convert the colour space, deep etched or removed from their background, resized often more than once (web & print) burnt to disc, uploaded to a website for viewing etc.

Most photographers involved in commercial work charge an hourly rate to cover the event or brief and on top of that, there may be other charges depending on the clients needs.

For Example

As you can see, there are many variables that can alter the cost to you. So it is important to give your photographer a detailed brief prior, so they can give you an accurate quote based only on what you need.

As your photographer has a lot of expensive equipment, lighting props and extras to enable him to carry out his job, it can be impractical to carry this on all assignments if it's not required. It can often be too late on the day of the job to change your requirements as the photographer would have prepared days before. If you do need to change the brief on the day, there may be additional charges involved.

Here at Creative Clips  we work with you to ensure your photography needs are met on time and within budget

Thereby offering his clients real value for money while still enabling Greg to feed and clothe his family.
